This drill teaches the skill of cutting and dribbling with the ball using the inside and outside of both feet to evade defenders. Place the 5 cones or markers as shown by the small orange circles in the picture below. The cones should be placed in a straight line 5 yards (or 5 meters) apart.
1) The player starts at the first cone and dribbles through the cones using only the inside and outside of his or her right foot.
2) The player circles around the last cone and then dribbles back through the cones still using only his or her right foot.
3-4) The player repeats the drill this time using only the inside and outside of his or her left foot.
